In this week’s Newsletter, learn the Top 5 strategy to be adopted to be Multi-Cloud ready. Multi-Cloud is about building once and deploying on any environment (local, hybrid, on-premises, multi or edge). Multi-Cloud is beyond Containerization.

Even if you are not going multi-cloud, these strategies would help you to be cloud neutral, agile, have a robust data strategy and avoid vendor-lock-in.

Do watch the companion video - https://lnkd.in/dhTNjHwc that explains the Multi-Cloud strategy in detail.

Also, checkout the cloud comparison tool, which compares 100+ services across Google Cloud, AWS and Azure - https://lnkd.in/d4aWq8zZ. Feedback welcome.

Sustainable #NFTs - The lazy minting feature of Rarible Blockchain NFT marketplace is a great way to create and showcase NFTs for free without paying any upfront gas fees.

The feature also promotes #sustainability as NFTs are minted only when a sale happens.

Blockchain is one of the key backbone technologies for driving digital assets and cryptocurrency. Apart from driving the digital asset revolution, blockchain ledger can be used for various industry use cases like transparent supply chain, health care, fintech, insurance..

If you are building blockchain applications and looking for a reference architecture and solution to build consensus based public , private or consortium blockchain applications, do download the Enterprise Blockchain Book from Amazon. The digital copy of the book would be freely available worldwide from 4th -8th May. Click on the link - https://amzn.to/38K7SD0 for more details.

Web 1.0 was about providing data. With, Web 2.0, it was about “data and conversations”, writing/sharing blogs and social media/interactions. With, Web 3.0 and beyond, the focus should be on “My data and engagement”, where you get to own digital assets, decide what and with whom to share your data, how systems use your data and move from conversation to real engagements. As we evolve to future versions of Web, it would hopefully be more open, trust based and transparent. Technologies like Blockchain, Ethereum, NFT, AR/VR, Virtual Worlds .. are currently enabling first generation Web 3.0, but eventually we would need new scalable versions and new technology enablers to realize the vision.

Stay tuned for next version for Technology Bytes Newsletter where I would cover Web3 and #NFT. If you have not subscribed, please do subscribe - https://lnkd.in/diqk6fvr

In this week’s Newsletter, we cover the technical stack behind Metaverse. The technology stack for building Metaverse is a combinatorial power of existing enabler technologies like Cloud, IoT, AI, Blockchain Ledger, Digital Twins, AR/VR, Virtual Worlds, Digital Assets and Tokens .. (that needs to be enhanced) and new assets, standards and tooling that needs to be developed for realising the vision for Metaverse.

Do watch the companion video - https://lnkd.in/d7j9BWQw that explains the Technical architecture. #cloud #metaverse #nft #linkedin

Your cloud carbon reduction journey can start with a simple assessment of your idle projects.

Over 600,000 gross kgCO2e in seemingly idle projects could be cleaned up or reclaimed across cloud projects — which would have a similar impact to planting almost 10,000 trees” - Great insights from Google cloud Active Assist sustainability recommendations.

Excited to share our work on the SCI Open Ontology project with Green Software Foundation.

With Software Carbon Intensity Specification (SCI), we are not just looking at measurement, but how to reduce carbon emissions.
We can do this by either creating energy efficient applications, using less hardware for the same amount of work, or by building carbon aware applications.

One of the key first steps in SCI is defining the software boundary. This is an interesting problem to solve where we are helpling
enterprises define the software boundary of the SCI application in a unified way through the SCI Open Ontology project

Do check on the project details and my interview with Green Software Foundation.
