Judging the Build and Grow AI Hackathon 2.0

I was invited as a judge for the Build and Grow AI Hackathon 2.0, organized by Google Developer Groups Cloud Mumbai and Cloud Pune.

Navveen Balani judging at the Build and Grow AI Hackathon 2.0

On judging duty at Build and Grow AI Hackathon 2.0.

I had a great time interacting with and judging fifteen teams — reviewing their solutions, asking questions, and sharing insights on how to take their ideas further.

What I appreciate most about the hackathon format is its grounding: teams weren’t building demos for the sake of demos, they were working on real use cases and solving real problems. There is no better way to learn how AI systems behave than to build one under a deadline, defend your design choices to a panel, and hear how others approached the same problem differently.

Thank you to the GDG Cloud Mumbai and GDG Cloud Pune communities for the invitation and the energy — and congratulations to every team that shipped something over the weekend.
