Artificial Intelligence (AI) holds immense potential to solve global challenges, but we cannot overlook its environmental impact. As AI models grow larger—especially Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI systems—their energy demands and carbon emissions scale significantly. Green AI focuses on addressing this by reducing the carbon footprint and energy consumption of AI development and deployment.
