Gartner has just released its latest report, identifying the top five strategic technology trends in software engineering for 2024. One standout trend is the rise of Green Software—a movement that’s not just about reducing carbon footprints but also about fostering sustainable, eco-friendly practices across the tech industry.

Here’s why this matters:
