Delighted to join the latest podcast on Green Software, where we talked about our case study on implementing SCI (Software Carbon Intensity) Specification score to measure and track software’s carbon emissions.

It was an insightful and engaging conversation with Asim Hussain and Srinivasan Rakhunathan, highlighting how to measure the carbon emissions of software applications using various methodologies and approaches.

We also talked about an exciting new Green Software Foundation project called CarbonQL. CarbonQL aims to change how we perceive and measure carbon value by systematically capturing monitoring data related to software emissions. CarbonQL will enable developers and companies to access a comprehensive carbon emissions value, empowering them to make more environmentally-conscious decisions when designing and deploying software.

As we continue to witness the growing impact of climate change, it becomes increasingly crucial for our #tech industry to take responsibility for its carbon footprint.
